Hello and welcome to Lily Pad Corner!Let me tell you little bit about myself.
The name is Emma and I'm from Yorkshire, I plan to write on this blog as and when, it may be every day or it might be once every other day. Though I do plan to write it in and lot let it collect up dust and cobwebs.
The thought came to me through one of my Instagram accounts, which is my crochet one. I have recently started to try and be a more refined, polished version of my old self, not that I didn't like the old me in any way, just I thought that there could be room for some change and boy was there!
So, through my Instagram posts, I sometimes write something really meaningful and long and something that has a big meaning or connection for me in my life, so I thought why not start up a blog about it, you've started tonnes before and kept them successfully running.
Somewhere where I can be me and just write about anything I feel like. Over time I hope that this page will help others in someway and that I will start to grow and look more homey like my book review page, but for the mean time, I am happy just the way things are over here on Lily Pad.
So, a little bit about me!
The name is Emma and I turned 22 on the 10th September. I know how to play the drums though I would say I'm a "wilted" musician, though my other half; Sam would disagree.
I was born and still currently reside in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and although when I was younger I used to say that I hated it, I do love it very fondly.
In my spare time I am a Level 2 Cake Decorator in the making and I am so proud to call myself that, it makes me so happy. I am also an avid crocheter, something that I taught myself just over two years ago and I have become slightly addicted to it. At the moment I am learning how to knit with help from my lovely mum and I have come to the conclusion that it is much harder than crocheting!
I have been with my beautiful other half, known on Instagram as
Mr. B for just over 4 years and love him ever so much, we share so much happiness together and it's wonderful.
There isn't much else to tell you all about myself really, just the few in's and out's. Though please follow along in my everyday adventures and ponders on life.
